Kill For Me
THE LEGEND
One bitter winter night, a lonely young man approaches a derelict mansion, his heart pulsing with morbid curiosity and intrigue. The mansion’s crumbling statues cast eerie shadows over the courtyard. One in particular, depicting a sinister man, stares vengefully down at him. A monument to the villain that once inhabited the property. With no friends, the young man devotes his time to studying the villain; his fixation providing an escape from his own isolated reality.
Carefully climbing through a shattered window, he lands onto the tiled floor of the grand hallway. Exhilaration courses through his veins as the room is hauntingly familiar; etched into his memory from chilling crime scene photos. He wanders through the labyrinth of rooms, a thick layer of dust and decay settled over every surface.
Eventually, he finds the master bedroom, untouched by the decades. He finds a bottle of the villain’s signature cologne sitting upon the vanity. Unable to stop himself, he sprays the cologne and is bathed in the aroma of Oud and Pepper. He revels in the nefarious aura before hastily concealing it in his coat.
He calls out to his departed idol, his voice echoes through the room frozen in time. A flicker of movement plays in his periphery. Yet, as moments stretch into minutes, contact remains elusive. Satisfied with his visit, he decides to leave, taking something unexpected with him.
Over the days ahead, he becomes aware of something following him. Fleeting glimpses of a sinister figure invade his vision, and notes of the villain's cologne haunt the air. He feels his grip on reality slip as the spirit takes hold. His obsession turns into reality as he is forced to perform unspeakable acts, at the whim of the phantom. His hands, no longer his own, become stained with the blood of innocent lives. Yet, perhaps this is a happy ending... for the lonely young man, was never alone again.
